Alie Layus loves you!
I had the honor to interview one of the coolest, chill, and extremely gorgeous model, miss Alexandra Layus(AlieLayus). Born in the Bay Area, she currently resides in socal and is a spokesmodel for Kallusive clothing and is currently working on her own photography project. An upcoming model with the triples threats of beauty, humor, and smarts, its no doubt that she will soon be on posters accross every little boys room(maybe girls). Enough with my ramblings, I present to you folks, Alie Layus and the best interview ever!

Q:name or alias you go by?
A:Alie Layus (Alie is my REAL name, short for Alexandra.)
Q:Where are you from and currently reside?
A:Born in SF, raised in san diego and pay rent in LA.
Q:Any jobs or projects in progress?
A:I'm the 2008 spokesmodel for Kallusive Clothing and I'm also starting up my own photography business! woo hoo!
Q: Do you like to collect anything?
A:Frankie B. Jeans...... and boys.
Q:Is it hard being a model?
A:It's hard for me because I have such a strong personal style... I have tattoos, and piercings and I change my hair color just about every week. haha! I'm not exactly the "girl next door" ...which is what most industry people look for when hiring models.
Q;Would you lose a boob or a butt cheek? why?
A:Oh man, I guess a boob. Then I could look cute in jeans still..... and just stuff my bra.
Q:Nor cal or So cal?
A:Well, I live in So Cal and I was born in Nor Cal. I have family and friends in both places. So to keep from pissing anyone off I guess I'll just roll with Sno Cal. You can interpret it any way you'd like :)
Q: Hugs or thugs?
A:Thugs that give hugs.
Q:What would you do if you had one week to live?
A:I would do every drug available... and I would eat EVERYTHING.
Q: Cupcakes or kid cupcakes?
A: uhhhh.....
Q: If we had a child together what would you name it?
A:Rocketship.
Q: Doyou carry a weapon on you at all times?
A:Yes, my sexiness.
Q: Favorite hobby?
A:Dancing and snowboarding.
Q: What type of music do you like to listen too?
A: EVERYTHING... EVEN Country!!
Q: Are you extreme or girlie?
A:I'm extremely girlie. I snowboard, surf and skate... I drive a stick and I drink straight whiskey. BUT I can do it all in a dress and high heels.
Q: Who is your hero?
A: Conan O'Brien.
Q:)If you had a saying after a fight, what would it be?
A:"That's right Beeeeyatch."
Q:Most embarrassing moment?
A:Oh gosh... I have to many embarrassing moments to chose just one.
Q:What is your ethnicity?
A:Filipina and Irish.
Q: Favorite brand to wear?
A:American Apparel!
Q:Whats your tattoo?
A:Umm... which one? haha I have a lot of crap... But it's all really girlie, delicate work. I didn't want to get stuff that makes me look really hard.
Q: Would you get a tattoo of a cupcake to impress me?
A: hahahhahaha it's funny, I am totally OBSESSED with cupcakes and I almost got a little tiny cupcake tattooed on my wrist a couple months ago. so, I guess the answer would be yes... but it wouldn't ONLY be for you. It would be for me, but we could pretend it's for you. haha!
Q: What current songs are you listening too?
A:I'm in love with the Cold War Kids right now. And my brother's band Augustana is coming out with their new album in the beginning of 2008, but I have a copy already and it's AMAZING. I'm also really into Kanye West's new album.
Q:By the time viewers of this website see your pictures, i think they would like to know what type of guys or girl you go for.
A: The type of guys I go for......... they HAVE to be confident, have a good sense of humor, good personal style and they have to be CREATIVE!

A Shot At love
Went to the city this weekend and bumped into the most famous person in SF. Could it be? Tila? Nope it's not, it's someone way cooler and crazier, Miss Jomacakes. In a span of 5 minutes of chit chattin she told me about aggressive people and exploding up because of not having a quarter. So if you guys ever see her please drop her a quarter or even better a pink camel lights cigarette pack. Maybe you'll have a chance at a shot at love? I really think you'll won't.

Past and Future
I bet everyone will remember this shoe. BOOGIE
I was recently lucky enough to interview the one and only talented miss Allison Torneros(paperboogie). The upcoming native Bay Area artist has one of the most unique and talented skills i've seen, and has been seen in a couple of music videos. She currently resides in LA, working on her designs and paintings which can be seen on her blogspot (Paintbyword). Her style, technique, personality and passion for her work is incorperated deep into her designs. Her self portrait is probably one of the best in modern day paintings. Q:When did you started your artwork?
A:Been drawing since i was a wee little bebeh. But i started showing my work when i was 18.
Q:what are your weapons of choice?
A:a paintbrush, a pencil, and my wacom tablet.
Q: DO you prefer the bay or LA?
A:as a place to live -- the bay
as a place to party -- LA
Q:what would you like to do for a living?
A: I really like what I'm doing for a living now, which is freelance design and selling art. But if I wanted to make even bigger bucks i would love to eventually be an art or creative director for a big company
Q:have you ever ghost ride the whip?
A:No, that is dangerous and just plain negligent.
Q:most embarrasing moment during an art event.
A:Never had one, yet

A:I never really shop. But when i do i like shopping on Melrose.
